Lamb prices are firming up with the new season looming and kill numbers slowing slightly. Deadweight beef cattle prices have increased between 7-10% in light of increased domestic demand and slow EU production, meaning export prices are also at a strong level.
The recent discoveries within in the industry have not only increased the demand for farm assured domestic cattle but also pushed poultry prices up as some consumers look for alternatives. Where and when possible we will keep current prices as they are but please beware of imminent price adjustments which we will announce as usual via our direct text alert service, if not already linked to this, please text 07759 512550 to sign up for this service which also includes weekly specials.
