The boys behind top online meat supplier the East London Steak Co (who supplied all the meat to the Meatopia festival earlier this year) are going all bricks ’n’ mortar with their very first butcher’s shop.
It’s not actually in East London, but in Islington, so the whole business has sensibly ditched the old name and will now be called Turner & George, after two of the directors – chef Richard Turner (also the exec chef of Hawksmoor) and butcher James George.
