Every quarter we will be introducing a new up and coming chef or someone we feel deserves some recognition within the industry. We will be sharing more about them and letting you find out who they are and what they do. For the first issue we would like to introduce Elizabeth Allen.
Pidgin is a new restaurant from James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy opening in East London on the 7th of July. Using their supper club, The Secret Larder, as a springboard, they’ll be serving a weekly changing, four-course set menu along with frequently changing wines and cocktails. Elizabeth Allen, formerly head chef at The Smokehouse, will be head chef, bringing with her a diverse and highly experienced angle on modern British food, as well as a dab hand with a barbecue. Of course, ingredients will be of the highest quality, with a wine list curated by Margot Tyson of Fish La Boissonnerie promising an all-round dining experience unlike any other in London.
