So if you’re wondering how we manage to process over 500 orders from 11pm and still get the deliveries to you the next day, its down to our crack team of staff that work tirelessly through the night whilst the rest of us are tucked up in bed. The man that makes this graveyard shift tick is our one and only Mick Heggarty. Born in Tottenham, North London , Mick started his career in butchery at a very young age, 14 to be precise working for the Corrigan Brothers in Holloway. After being put through his training Micky left the chain and headed to Smithfield Market. From here Mick really honed his skills and opened his own business in Islington. We picked him up when Turner & George bought the 399 St John Street butchery shop a few years back. Since then Mick has been and continues to be a pivotal part of running our night shift.
