It’s that time of year when we plug our superb lamb now the new season is back. We have a great supply of saltmarsh fresh from the Burnham Marshes courtesy of Mr Edward Hull and some great young Texel arriving with great covering, straight from Allman at Brook Farm. On the pork front we’re sure you are aware it’s on the rise, this is mainly down to lower numbers coming through this year, and a sharp pre-Easter surge. This timed with the appealing post-Brexit exporting prices have unfortunately caused the spike but rest assured we are doing all we can to keep these increases as low as possible whilst working carefully on our sourcing to ensure the same great quality.
