Welcome to the third edition of Jamie’s Corner. This month I’ve got Nico Rilla of The Laundry E8 in my corner.
A former 1950’s Laundry, The Laundry is now owned by the guitarist of the internationally renowned Radiohead, Ed O’Brien.
Following a major refurbishment, the space has been transformed into a multi functional venue. It features a 100 cover canteen and bar, an event space in the basement capable of hosting 720 people, a recording studio and 26 studios that are let out as work spaces for musicians and artists.
I met up with the Head Chef Nico Rilla, who we have enjoyed working with before.
He explained to me that his menus ‘will be mainly English influenced, seasonally inspired, ever changing with a strong emphasis on provenance, full traceability.’
We are proud to be supplying Nico and The Laundry with everything they need, from Bacon to Burgers and everything in between.
