This month I have been working closely with Simon Phelan, Executive Chef at Antic London. Antic is a group of pubs based mainly in the North, South and East areas of London.

Food at Antic pubs centres around modern & seasonal European ingredients and dishes – as long as it’s fresh and home cooked, then it’s good to go. Simon allows the individual chefs to lead on what is and isn’t on their menus. From afar he assists with costs and will happily help out if there are any problems or if food sales drop. There is a very open culture at Antic whereby chefs from different pubs regularly chat and discuss menu ideas. This makes it ideal for them to make use of the weekly seasonal specials that we offer to all our chefs. We are very much looking to forward to to working with Simon and Antic this month.
